In compliance with GDPR, Article 17 Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten), Global Investigative Services, Inc. has created a process for members of the European Union to have their personal information removed from our system, if a background check was processed for the permissible purpose of employment screening or any other permissible purpose. The principal behind this, as stated in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Chapter 3, Article 17, is to enable an individual to request the deletion or removal of their personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
